some people might notice that i reuploaded the v24 builds made by chris. not a good idea todo a vacation in california sometimes. this fixup should resolve load and firewall problems introduced in the final build and should also run more stable on micro devices.
note:
mega will follow, its not yet prepared as special build _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking? Sounds like a Mac to me.." - Louis Rossmann https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eL_5YDRWqGE&t=60s

After having an one hour walk at the beach I started over again.
Going back to v23 SP3 mini (hard reset) and flashing dd-wrt.v24-9517_VINT_std.bin (hard reset) I got chilli working.
Well, actually I am sure I have not had any typo in my chilli config because if something goes wrong I compare (using Notepad++) the current config with a save known working config. Usually I find these nitty gritty typos that way.
Anyways, the last step was to flash dd-wrt.v24_std_special_generic.bin BS posted today.

I think the something wrong about micro_special_generic, I don't know it wrong or you want to change the default IP address to 192.168.180.1?
After I try install to WRT54G v5 (From v24 RC4) then can't login with 192.168.1.1. May be something wrong, I test by connect RS232 and monitor the start up log. It's show IP address like 192.168.180.1 after that try connect by use IP 192.168.180.1 which work!

I really respect you and I think DD-WRT firmware is best thing happened to me.
I have been using it for 5 years on almost every router I got.
I will be honest with you so please no hard fillings.
I think this final v24 is really no good.
Just problems, errors and so on....
Your version RC-4 special works like a charm comparing to these.
I dont know what to say please dont care about visualization of the firmware so much and make it function better.
Also I dont understand why you changed look of your official site? Before that everything was cheap to find and was really functional. I have a lot of friends and nobody likes it.
Before page was like firmware theme and was awesome.
About micro problems?
It has more problems of course:
First:
it changes default ip to
192.168.180.1 .
Second:
Repeater mode works really bad and
you cannot access your virtual ap
if security is enabled .
Dhcp wont give you ip
Third:
There was no message that upgrade was sucessfull
after web upgrade to v24 and no redirection to main start ip .
Fourth:
With older firmware I could accessed my other router with mac filtering enabled.Yes wan mac is listed and it works with older versions. With v 24 I was forced to add wireless mac from other router then I was able to connect it didnt with listen wan mac.
EXAMPLE:
00 1A FF 01 A3 41 IS WAN MAC ADDRESS
00 1A FF 01 A3 42 IS WLAN MAC ADDRESS
So with older versions router could connect because of the wan mac listed.
With new I was forced to input wlan mac address to be able to connect.Or clone that wan would be same as wlan.
i dunno why, i cant just access the GUI with the special version. i tried to enter all the ip address i knew, and tried using arp -a and enter the ip address listed there. nothing works, but i can still use tftp to re-flash it with the normal micro. btw, my router is wrt54gs v7.2
any solution?!
thx b4 ^^

i dont know what you mean. the 192.168.180.1 problem is resolved in this build _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking? Sounds like a Mac to me.." - Louis Rossmann https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eL_5YDRWqGE&t=60s
i tried it. still the same, i cant access the GUI. the special version seems to brick my router. not permanently though, i can still re-flash it with the normal 1 and it will work again. but i kinda need the special version as i never used it since i bought it. it just never worked on my wrt54gs v7.2.
any solution to this?
thx b4 ^^
