That would be neat. However, a couple immediate issues would arise though.
a) Storage space and CPU Time required on the server(s) increases (could be partly solved by purging older daily releases I suppose).
b) Daily builds could be severely buggy (incomplete) and/or unstable. They should only be tested by experts.
Please forgive me, but I want to absolutely confirm the proper version for WAP54G V2 PRIOR to attempting a flash! I've tried to research this six different ways before asking the question... but I'm stumped.
According to this forum, and some of the Wiki articles I am to use EXCLUSIVELY the vintage build for 4710/4712 units (which includes the WAP54G v2):

That penalty, it seems that if x86 versions have been improved, routing, with quagga instead of bird, but the version for computers with Broadcom, still works with bird. bad luck. Sorry for my English.
I have 4710 with 4318 mini pci wifi card. That is, I have 4710 unit but with corerev=9. Which build do you advice me to run?
According to BrainSlayer if it is corerev 5 or higher...it will run the new builds.
That is directly from him. I can't validate this....I only have 2 - 4710 - corerev=4's (WAPv1, WRTv1)....both of them will ONLY run the VINT builds.

Thanks. I'll test every combination when V24 is really final. 9513/9517? I am not sure if they will or will not release a 9525 for another "final v24" now.
Using VINT (std-noKAID) build of v24 on a Belkin F5D-7230 v1000 (Recognised as "RT210W generic", Broadcom BCM4710 chip rev 0, mini-PCI wireless, 4MB Flash, 16MB RAM), everything works but encryption. Using an unencrypted connection, everything's fine. But as soon as WEP or WPA is enabled, the "Wireless status" page starts counting up the transmit errors, and no wireless client can get a connection (They can see the SSID, obviously, but can't connect to it).

I have a Belkin F5D7230-4 v1111tt, which has a 4710, but corerev=5. Since I had been running V23SP2 (actually build 3939), I didn't even know about the difference between VINT and non-VINT, so I used the Web interface to upgrade to dd-wrt.v24_generic_nokaid.bin before I even found this thread.
So far, it seems to work OK. Would VINT be recommended for this router instead?

If things are working OK for you....stick with it. No need to change....if you start seeing strange wireless drop outs or...a complete loss of wireless....then consider the VINT build for the unit.

I'm planning to switch from NOKAID to STD, because NOKAID doesn't provide any usable JFFS space. Also, since I had been using V23SP2 before, I hadn't used virtual wireless interfaces. Would VINT or non-VINT be better if I wanted to use virtual interfaces?
When using this build with a WRT54G v2, the wireless seems unstable and prone to random dropoffs to zero strength. This typically happens after 4 to 12 hours (random) of being up. I have posted a separate msg in the forum but figured I will add a reply here
