I guess an issue should be logged in the bugtracker to add that trailer to the DD-WRT firmware.

I see the issue about the broken LAN ports (http://www.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/bugtracker/view.php?id=3055) is not assigned to anyone, this is a major bug. Anyone with a WRT600N and DD-WRT have the LAN ports working?

i've got version 1.0 (purchased 1/08)

everything works fine for me (besides the well documented 5ghz issues)

clearly the issues users are having now relate to linksys changing something from v 1.0 to v 1.1

I posted dumps from the appropriate /proc/cpuinfo from wrt's firmware on my 2008 v1.1 router somewhere earlier on in this thread. Would that not be enough?

As someone write nvram dump from built 5 with is compactible with new hardware so you can see "switch_type=BCM5395". The WRT600N V1.0 had a BCM5397. The new swich is werse,it's a standard swich (and is not managet and no Jumbo frames, i think). Have someone new driver for BCM5395?

I don't know about a driver, but I wouldn;t say it is any worse based on the specs. On the BCM5395 page there is a product brief pdf that expands the features. Check it out: http://www.broadcom.com/collateral/pb/5395-PB00-R.pdf
It has jumbo, QOS, Vlan double tagging and everything.

I think the BCM5395 does support jumbo frames.

Quote from PDF file. (See link below)
Performance
• 9 Kbyte jumbo frame support—wire speed performance for all frame sizes.

Good news! I was able to successfully extract your "build 5" firmware trx using firmware_mod_kit.

Transient....can you post the build 5 bin extracted bin file?

someone out there got the serial port working?
i somehow misflashed one of mine and now i can send files using tftp but it won't flash...
similar to stuff i had with one of my 350n.
would be cool to gain serial access to the cfe and maybe
flash -noheader : flash1.trx
will work just like it did for the 350N devices...

If you have a v1.1, did you flash a trailed file? For example, the file I posted here or the official firmware v1.01.36 build 3?
