AirLink 101 AR680w status?

Currently, as I understand it, the AR680w is not supported. Sounds like it is a different processor, based on this thread.

Given that the GPL code is available, can somebody in the know clue me in to what the roadblock(s) are and how we might help?


    Lack of time?
    Lack of physical sample to test on?
    Missing documentation?
    Missing toolchain dependencies for the chipsets in the AR680?

The two chip brands generally supported by DD-WRT (and other third party) are Broadcom and Atheros. Atheros, the "newer" one has been under work for years and still isn't fully supported to the level of the Broadcoms. To think of putting in that kind of time and effort to develop support for the Ralink chips in what is essentially ONLY that router seems rather impractical.

now we have gerneral Ralink support

but we need a donated device here in germany
