any support for it

before you say it does not have broadcom i opened it up


it has Broadcom BCM4712KPB 2MB (Intel TE28F160)
8MB RAM (Expandable to 16MB)



NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BSWORKS
it runs Linux FTW!!!

Yes, what's new? v1 is Broadcom based - runs Linux, v2 and v3 are Marvell based.

Well, without JTAG port as way out is very risky to upgrade. At least serial console is there.

well i do not care if i brick it i got it for free anyways Rolling Eyes it uses TRX file

also looks to have the same HW as the WAP54G v2 but with out the ethernet port
i saw this on openwrt fourm i do not know how to convert files nor do i have linux installed on any computers(be sides my routers that does not count :p )

to do the converting

well, it has 7 byte header befor HDR0 signature. Let me check GPL code and see if I can make an image for it.

BTW, did you get cfe for Dell ??

yes but it would not work


not an big deal
it was an POS anyway


i got my WRT54g v1, v2 and v4 that were bricked working


i missed using my wrt54g v1 draft g router (WPA2 works fine) i have no idea why they disable WPA2 on v24 for wrt54g V1

I can't see how this box can be flashed? It has not ethernet port, so any tftp is not possible.

it has
GUI upgrade Very Happy


it only takes TRX but bins have to be converted to TRX

Smile once dd-wrt is on there it will be an real Range Expander


any idea if the dd-wrt.v23_micro_asus.trx will work with BCM4712KPB ?
