I have a WRT54G V3.1 router and it was giving me problems. I decided to try giving it a bit more juice by over-clocking it in the administration menu to 280MHz i believe. After that, nothing happened, so i re-booted the device and now i'm stuck with it just with a flashing power light. Im sure i haven't totally busted the thing, but i was wondering if anyone could help me with restoring it, flashing for example?
Unplug it and let it cool off for a bit as you may be having some overheating problems. Then do a 30/30/30 hard reset and hopefully it will be restored to default values. _________________ WRT54GL 1.0 - Repeater w/ v24_final_mini

with it powered up. hold reset for 30 seconds, then disconect power while still holding for 30 seconds, then plug it back in still holding for 30 seconds. You are holding the reset for 90 seconds total during this procedure. Then see what happens. _________________ "If it's not broken, don't fix it, but if you do and it works, leave it alone."

Unfortunately i tried this a couple of times, and still no luck. Looks like i have a new paperweight
Try to hold it for a couple of mins instead of 30sec. to reset. Similar thing has happened to my v2, v6. It seems to take forever to reset if you used RC7
