I had one of my wrt54g-tm routers running at 250Mhz (w/heat sick) for about 2-3 weeks and then it stopped. Read, bricked hard. It required a jtag erase and flashing to recover. As for the performance it wasn't really worth it so now all my routers run at default CPU speed.
Good Luck. _________________ Router collection:

An on the other side of the spectrum... I've had three routers overclocked to 250mhz without any additional cooling for over a year with no ill effects. So it probably depends on the environment as well as the individual hardware. _________________ WRT54G v2.0 (Bridge)
