I just loged in to the router to enable SSH management under advanced.

It is currently on disabled and both enable/disable are greyed out, you can change the selection.

Am I doing something wront?

Sure- you must first enable ssh (dropbear) on "Services" page.

First of all, I really appreciate you guys working on this router.

I'll run to the store tomorrow (since they're closed today) and pick one up to provide SSH+GUI access. Eko, do you want it running 9333 std at first or the mini with working wireless?

And can I please confirm the process you have successfully flashed with:
  1. flash through stock netgear web-if to http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/download.php?id=4226 (sparkie's mini dd-wrt .chk w/ working wireless)
  2. flash through dd-wrt web-if to a rev > 9185

For those of you with bricked routers, try intentionally bricking the router. I had some success doing that with this router. It doesn't seem to like to accept tftp transfers unless it detects the firmware as corrupt. Start the tftp transfer and a bit after it begins, unplug your router's power. Then, try to flash again.

The best is to compare one working build and one not working (wireless).
I mean i'd like to have access to both.

Thanks, Eko. This build is working well (wireless N included). When will this code merge with the code-base so I can try other builds when you compile the next beta?

Why would you want one?
  1. flash through stock netgear web-if to http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/download.php?id=4226
  2. flash through dd-wrt web-if to http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/download.php?id=4509 (or any future builds)
