Hello,

I recently purchased a cell phone usb-serial interface cable and made it into a serial cable for my fon routers.

One of my fon routers is bricked, so I am trying to use my new cable to fix it. I start Putty, plug in my fon router, and then attach the serial interface to the fon router after 5 seconds.

This is what I get:

nothing I type in does anything.

If I press Control-C while it's booting I get this:

Can someone help me out?

well, nvm.

I've recovered my fonera from brickland!

Turns out I wasn't pressing ^C at the exact right time. You just have to keep trying.
