|
I have a V.5 that I'm debricking, and after erasing the NVRAM and kernel via JTAG, it still won't take a firmware over TFTP. So, it seems I need a new CFE. I have a "generic" CFE for the V.5, but I can't for the life of me remember which of Jeremy's programs and what command to use to embed the router's MAC into the CFE before I flash it. Anyone have that info off the top of their heads? Thanks!!

Maybe just use the CFE and apply nvram commands after the fact.
Quote: | If your newly flashed v5 router is working properly, you may want to correctly set your MAC addresses. Using a command line, enter 'nvram set et0macaddr=xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx' where xx is the MAC address printed on the bottom of your router. Follow that with the commands 'nvram commit' and 'reboot'. |
