Dear friends,
I thank you for the contribution you are making. I am amazed by the amount of effort it would have taken for you to get here. I just got a Linxsys WRT45G v6 router and used the instructions in http://www.bitsum.com/openwiking/owbase/ow.asp?WRT54G5%5FCFE#h3 to flash it with your image.

I installed dd-wrt.v23_micro_generic.bin from the site http://www.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/down.php?path=downloads%2Fdd-wrt.v23+SP1%2Fmicro/
and it worked without running into any hickups. I appreciate your efforts and hope that some day I will be able to contribute to this myself.

However, I need help to get more advanced user and learn more. Sorry to ask basic questions though.
1. Can you point me to documenation of the features available in dd-wrt.v23 micro generic ?
2. Is there any administration guide?
3. Where can I get the source code for the dd-wrt.v23_micro_generic.bin ?

Thanks again.

There's no kind of "official" manual out (yet) so the best thing is this forum and of course the wiki (which should be the first thing you look at when searching for Information)! The wiki is (like many wikis^^) maintained by this community so it may be incomplete or maybe even incorrect at some points. If you have further questions just aks on the boards ;)

ps: Sourcecode is aviable via svn checkout or via direct download in the download section (wouldn't recommend the last option because this doesn't really get updated...)! With the svn you can checkout any revision of dd-wrt you like Wink Just search the wiki/forum for svn and you'll find some more hints about that!

Dear .DOT, Thanks for your response. I will check out the wiki and try to get the source from svn.
