Hello;

I have 2 gateworks 2348-2, each unit have installed the Ubiquiti XR-3. I have not the superchannel, I have enable the outdoor band, regulatory domain ARMENIA, I am using the channel 128.

The trouble is that each time that I need change some configuration in the wireless, I need remove the wireless card, put the AP to factory default, put the card inside again, factory default again, and finally I can config without errors the channel values.

when I do this, I put in WDS, each unit in AP mode, A only, but the system is jumping, never is stable, when I saw the status, I see the other WDS, but only for some seconds, after that, the other AP disapper from the status.

When I tried "scan 0" I din't see nothing.

I have 2 antennas 3.5 GHZ 13.5dBi, low loss cable LMR-400 (1 metter) and less than 3 Km distance between points. when I used the superchannel from july that Brian provide us, everything works, but the trouble was that when we like to do some changes, we cannot because we needed to do the procedure explained to config the system again.

Can you help me. I can pay support, I believe that could be a compatibility or someting like that.

Dont feel alone, im having similar problems but with a Ubiquiti XR5 cards, I have 4 cards installed, but i can just see the first card with all 5ghz channels, the other three cards just appears channel 165.... :S

Hope BrainSlayer can put any comment regarding this...

After reset default, and reboot, finally I have 2 equipments ready, but in front each other, the main problem is that only can use 9Mb, the equipments have -24 Signal and 92% good quality, channel 100, and look that works, but when I tried to do a change in the rate, again, I need to repeat everything, the factory default, remove and put the card... bla, bla, bla...

one xr5 card will take up to 4-5w of power in action (x4 + 8w board ~ 25W). how strong is your psu? do u use PoE?

plz install the latest dd-wrt version rc6.2. and do a factory reset and try again.

My take 6.2 is broken for Avlila at least for Atheros card support with anything other than WEP encyrption and I'm anxioulsy awaiting the next release. Would be nice if CF cards where autodetected and mounted as well is all this extra flash space for JFFS2.

Im using a passive PoE 24V adapater.. according to the avila tech guys they said it should have any probs powering these boards, so far i could get them to work corretly having just 2 radios correctly configured. (I couldnt reproduce the missing channels probs, but i know if i start playing with the web ui i might brake it again, that means no more tweaking for it :p) The other two are connected, and have a SSID configured and all, just it has no clients connected to it, yet. (This equipment is being used as wireless backhaul for some remote offices)

Hello, Finally I put the system working,

When you save something, you need to hold the green light of the board will be ready, because you can changes things, but the system crash if the light are no turned ON. when you save, hold like a minute, and after that you can save anything.

This is a nice trick....
