Is there any plan to support this new N type router I would gladly donate 20$ to see a build for this new linksys product below is a link to the source code for the firmware.

ftp://ftp.linksys.com/opensourcecode/wrt310n/1.00.1/WRT310N_v1.00.1_US.tgz

for any one intrested here is a link for all of linksys open source code

http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_CASupport_C1&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1169671246380&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper&lid=4638035652B04#WRT310N

it should list all of linksys linux based roughters

I would also be intrested if any one has the tech specs for this router hardwear ect you may be able to find it in the code but im unsure.

Thanks Guys for all the hard work

Linksys WRT310N v1 (4705 cpu, fccid: Linksys Q87-WRT310N

It has new cpu - switch combo, so this is tricky one to figure out, see how much problems we have with wrt300n v1.1

It'll probablly work as soon as we figure out the exact sequence of Magic(tm) necessary to support the 300Nv11 -- they're exactly the same hardware, as far as I know, in a different case. If you follow the v11 thread, you'll see I have it working under almost unreproducable conditions. I've not been able to get wired and wireless functional at the same time. (probablly an NVRAM issue as the stock firmware chokes as well.)

Hi

I read the instructions, I think they are telling me that I can either a) load DD WRT on the hardware before I can pull cfe and nvram or b) pull it out via JTAG.

As another option, would it be possible to recompile the linksys firmware, update the ping.asp to accept arbitrary commands and then pull out the data we need?

Just asking for your recommended approach.
