I was browsing through the source and noticed it won't be detected as a v1 since v2 obviously has no cardbus. If you want to compile a test build with a v2 definition, I'll try it out. The components are listed in my previous posts.
Thanks. Transfer successful, just like everything, but the power light freezes in it's current state and it stops responding to ping. I wish i had a jtag cable.
I have a v1 wnr834b and I tried many version including std, mini, mirco. The update flash fine but after about 5-10 mins it will brick when you unplug the power to the router. Has anyone tried a build that is sucessful?

I don't have this problem using the newest RC build.

Hi,
i got a WNR834Bv2 router,
and i am willing to do some j-tagging
( i did j-tag a few years ago with sattelite receivers )
how do i progress, to co-operate, with you guys
and also open this box.. ??
grtz, Paul
for some reason i think the images i tried are not encrypted so tftp flashing them doesn't work
tell me what to do, i might help..
and if i brick mine, So be it
You open the case by pushing a flat head screwdriver into the 10 holes on the bottom. You'll see the tabs pop out and then you can pull the sides off.

Urgh, if only I'd come here and confirmed all this before just checking the Wiki (http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Supported_Devices#Netgear) and wasting a morning on this _________________ Linksys WRT-54Gv2 - DD-WRT for as long as I can remember!
