Router/Version: R7000
File/Kernel: Linux version 4.4.302-rt232-st71
Previous/Reset: 63123/ Restore backup from 63123.
Mode/Status: Working
Issues/Errors: Client can't get IPv6 from Router.
From versions after 63123, I noticed that the router no longer assigns IPv6 addresses to clients, even though the router itself has successfully obtained an IPv6 address from the telecom ISP.
This issue has persisted up to the current 63355 version.
Here are a screenshot of the client’s `ipconfig` output and the router’s `dmesg` logs. If any additional information is needed, please feel free to ask.
@Newbrain: I presume that you added that to startup. The issue was discussed in the Atheros thread, and I came to the same conclusion about the problem. The issue for WAP DNS issues should be fixed in the next release:

Router: Linksys EA6400
Kernel: Linux 4.4.302-rt232-st71 #14912 SMP Wed Jan 14 15:03:36 +07 2026 armv7l
Previous: original r63295 build
Mode: Internet Gateway, WIFI 5GHz AP, smartdns with DoH, iptables firewall, SshD
Status: Working
Issues: Nothing significant, some yellow marked events in logs
Uptime: almost 13h
All services on device working rather good. Performance is OK.
On previously versions Smartdns wasn't stable. That was stack overflow problem and DNS service stop working. After fix 63339 everything should be OK. My device had this issue too and now after flash the newest build router is rather stable.

As always, the Quantenna chip has its own quirks. This is a closed source chipset
There is no way to install a channel.
But you can disable 5.0 GHz. @mpgalaxy hack "If you set the radio mode to station bridge and disable the network mode, the 5GHz device will turn off completely even after reboot."
If your router's light turns red, don't worry. Internet connection is ok.
Thank you BS and gurus! _________________ Atheros

Keeping an eye on SmartDNS as prior version 6**** working ROM releases 61848, 63020, 63223 would stop resolving at random intervals. Workaround is to restart the service every minute with a CRON job. */1 * * * * root service smartdns restart

Previous/Reset: DD-WRT v3.0-r63230 std (01/01/26)/No
Mode/Status: Gateway/IPv6 is not working properly.
Configuration
Enable IPv6 : Enable
Type : DHCPv6 with Prefix Delegation
Prefix Length : 64
MTU : 1452
Router Advertisement Daemon (radvd) : Enable
As chenshaoju pointed out, the WAN IPv6 was fetched from the ISP, but the client side doesn't get it from the router.
My observation is that r63230 is the last working IPv6 build with radvd enabled.
Now, assuming that radvd is broken, instead of using radvd, having DHCPv6 Server Daemon enabled, and IPv6 Router Advertisement (RA) enabled, testing showed that IPv6 will work, but comes with one problem that, after I made a soft router reboot, IPv6 is crippled again.(edited)
To fix it, I have to click Save & Apply button on the IPv6 page. It seems like DHCPv6 Server Daemon option won't stick to it's "Enable" value. Apparently, of course.
