Not sure if this is because a problem with my router or the version of DD-WRT I am running, which is 57595 and is from July 24. Router is a Netgear R7000 and whilst this has been happening for some time it seems to have become worse lately.
Are there any diagnostics I can get to try and establish the route cause. I am hesitant to move to a new build unless there is something to suggest the fault has been fixed.

Sorry, should have added that if I restart the daemon it starts accepting connection again and may run for several hours before the problem happens again but it may also happen within an hour.

Could be the watchdog that prevents brute force attempts to crack into the router. I don't understand the idea of being on such an old build, but that's your choice. Ultimately, though, if it's not an issue on the current release, then it's not an issue.

57595 is from 07/27/2024. Note the year. Old build indeed!
