Router/Version: WRT3200ACM
File/Kernel: DD-WRT v3.0-r62606 std (11/12/25) (NEND and FEND routers all same)
Previous/Reset: Previous
Mode/Status: AP
Issues/Errors:
issue 1:
when restoring config from file via web gui. same version to same version over a wireguard tunnel it appears the tunnel is taken down before the full config can upload causing it to effectively factory default the router or cause a partial restore requiring a factory default to recover the router. this behavior is not observed when utilizing the WAN IP to conduct the restore.
issue 2:
When making changes to Wireguard tunnels on remote router utilizing vpn provided by Wireguard the changes never go into affect. Similar experience to the config restore router says it takes the config but upon restoration of the tunnel it never changes.
example: connectivity is established across OET1, I make a change to OET2 tunnel all Wireguard tunnels drop\recover, but changes never take affect. I make changes via WAN IP and update takes just fine?
are these expected with Wireguard? I just moved over from a hub and spoke config using OpenVPN to hub and spoke Wireguard setup and never experienced this with OpenVPN. ??? |
