Is it possible to copy a dd-wrt boot drive for backup? I just had to rewrite and redo everything due to drive failure.

Creating an image of a drive and the like has been possible for quite some time. It's how we installed many identical NT4 workstations years ago without having to sit through the tiring installation process of OS and all apps. This is why mechanical drives don't generally make sense to use for routers and appliances.

Appreciate the responses. It was an old samsung nvme and it just decided to retire. Just wanted to make sure I didn't waste my time copying and not working.
