I am a novice. I have tried many methods, such as flashing the firmware from 2013 to the latest firmware supported by the machine, changing the interface, using a wired connection, modifying settings, turning off the firewall, using a key, and changing the algorithm of the SSH client... But it's very strange. Sometimes telnet can connect, but SSH cannot connect no matter what. Sometimes it prompts a connection refusal, and sometimes it prompts a software interruption

No details on exact build numbers, client device, client OS, client terminal program. No screenshots or other applicable amplifying information. SSH is not "advanced networking", moved to Broadcom for now, could be considered general topic as it applies to all devices.

One thing that must be addressed as discussed many times before is that the host key must be cleared from the client device for successful identification and some client terminal programs require that the order of key exchange algorithm choice be modified. I never had to do change the order, it has always seemed to just work for me.

Need to know the specific dd-wrt version you are using.

As of a couple years ago the supported ssh algorithm is ed25519 in dd-wrt.

After that if you still have problems then we need actual screen shots or code block captures of the errors.

if you are using Putty than, key must be in putty format or generated with puttygen
you can use Putty on Linux or Windows Razz

putty needs some tweaks too Razz

on DDWRT, CLI username is always root

Thank you so much for sharing the URL. I found that I don’t need to use ssh at all. Telnet is enough to use “erase linux”
