I flashed factory-to-ddwrt.bix in partition 1 successfully, then rebooted.
The lights on the switch flash on and off briefly when powering on, but I can't connect via ethernet... I also didn't have luck connecting via w/ Serial UART and trying to access U-Boot, or doing a factory reset. The lights still flash when powering on... Any suggestions? At least for getting it back to factory settings?
I tried both IP addresses on all ports, with power coming from the AC adapter, not PoE... Is there a specific port/IP address combo that you need to use after flashing DDWRT on this switch in particular?

I personally do not have one of these and don't have any information for you, but I've reached out to the developer. It would be great to have serial logs to deduce the problem with the firmware images, etc. I don't have a pinout for the UART header for this device. I just now found the OpenWRT Wiki for this device, which may shed some light and help you:

once someone is able to provide me logs i can check whats wrong and quickly fix it. since it is a blind board (no device access) there might be a issue, but it can be just minor. _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking?
