I recently bought a refurbished MR7350 from Woot for dirt-cheap, and I haven't used DD-WRT in a long time, so I thought I'd try this out. I followed all instructions as found here:
I followed the steps for Upgrading DD-WRT to the latest version, and after the five-minute reboot timer completed, the webUI froze. 192.168.1.1 no longer worked (even though it loaded all relevant UI up until this point). I waited another five minutes, then power-cycled and plugged everything back in, and while I have hardwired Internet working fine through this router, I'm still unable to get to the web UI, so I can't edit the SSID, I can't add a password to wireless access, or otherwise customize anything here. I get a timeout when trying telnet via my Ethernet-connected Windows machine. I'm unable to load the UI via http:// (ie not https). Unsure what I do at this point, and searching for answers has led to resources like Reddit pages with a ton of deleted posts, so I feel lost. Thanks in advance for any help.

Never flash a build without checking out its new-build thread first. Here's an example of one that shows that the build has problems: https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=339011. When that happens, pick a different build. Looking at what the experienced hands say they revert to may help. _________________ On 61465: 3x Dynalink DL-WRX36, Linksys MX4200v2, 2x MR7350. Thx for the replies. I'll try the recommended FW. (The guide specifically advises the "latest" FW, which I found odd, so I'm sad I didn't follow my own hunch after seeing that.) What's the recommended path to resetting this router, so I can get back to any kind of webUI and start again? (Hilariously, the 7350 DD-WRT wiki page has "WIP" on its "Recovery" tab, sigh.)

I was specifically told to put the latest by the founder and lead developer of this project as reflected by the last logged change to that page. Initial flash on a newly-supported device warrants opening the case and having serial console connected per usual best practices (and so the developer can fix what is broken in the latest release). There's a link to the OpenWRT wiki for the device which doesn't currently have recovery information. Keep in mind that the Wiki as a whole is maintained by volunteers, not paid employees, and I'm pretty sure I'm the only one currently doing anything to it since the beginning of this year, if not further back.
I'd venture to say that recovery is via serial and/or TFTP like most Linksys devices.
If you only flashed the factory-to-ddwrt file, then recovery is via power switch trick.
Buy me one so I can fix the lack of information in the Wiki?
Well, in great news, I had waited over 24 hours since powering the unit on, and that meant I could get into the webUI upon rebooting the router for long enough to update the firmware and return to stable use. Thanks to the volunteer mods and general users who offered advice. I would recommend some kind of touch-up to general resources that might help other wayward souls like myself from making novice mistakes--particularly getting opinions straight on the best recommended practices for entirely new installs (ie most recent firmware?). Thanks again.

If you didn't flash the webflash file twice, you should be able to use the power switch trick to get back to the initial flash (factory-to-ddwrt) and downgrade from there. There is always the possibility of using telnet or ssh access to CLI flash the downgrade as well. Otherwise, you're possibly going to need serial console access to revert to Linksys firmware and start over. If you don't know anything about how to do that, then you can try the standard ping, power, put / ping, put, power TFTP flash. If that is unsuccessful, then you'll need serial. I see my exit, since I won't respond to the rest since I only have two cheeks. Good luck. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

MR5500 MR7350 same debrick. I know and I have been successful.
kernel-panic69 helped me debrick the MR5500. Same thing worked on MR7350.
best option, on off 3 times to boot second partition as kernel-panic69 mentioned... and I would flash the factory twice - just to be extra sure both partitions are flashed. Then start again. I am probably being too conservative for most with that though.
for serial - if you can follow my confusion in learning how to....

What do you need for the Wiki on the MR7350 and MR5500. I have serial cabled soldered, and have recovered both. I wound up getting back a hold of my GL-MT6000, and then scored another for $85 so... these linksys are sitting on the side. Your instructions were perfect, tftp-hpa was the finicky part. Let me know. Maybe I can pull data for the other issues too. I would love to figure out the latency wifi to wifi on the MR7350.

P.S. The webUI for the 9/11/25 build is / can be b0rked in general per the build thread.
r61848 is a pretty stable build on this router. If you're doing a fresh flash on it, I'd stick with that build for now.
Recently I bought one MR7350. Great machine, especially openvpn troughtput is impresive (light years better than current TP-Link Archer C7 v4). Just tried last firmware, and get web-server reboots when access wifi tab ... so ... i get back to 61848 as recommended there, and till now, I'm more than happy
