There is a firmware available for the Linksys MX5500, which is very similar to the Linksys MX2000.

Both have the same CPU, Switch and WiFi chipsets with the difference of the MX5500 having dual band 5GHz compared to single 5GHz for the MX2000.

Could the existing MX5500 firmware be used on the MX2000 as well?
