Update method: Followed the guide and flashed over stock web-if.
Router/Version: Linksys MR7350
File/Kernel: Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r61824 std (06/20/25)
Previous/Reset:
Mode/Status: DHCP wan + DHCP lan
Issues/Errors:
I am a noob, but after flashing my MR7350, it is very hard to get internet connection. It gets IP, and works to ping 1.1.1.1 for example. But visiting websites dont work. Seem to be a DNS issue. And it looses the WAN-ip some times also.
DD-wrt has worked before on other routers and on this Swedish ISP.
I think i am doing something wrong, but i didnt change any default settings.

It is very unstable, dropping wan ip after doing small changes in web-if.
I will test older release.
this latest version is pretty stable on the Linksys MR7350. I am not sure what your settings are - I am in the USA and on a cable modem with DHCPv6 Prefix delegation. I was able to get a stable setup once I set the wifi up properly and manually set the channels - I did not leave it on auto channel selection for the MR7350... I am not sure if this helps. I am also fairly new - well back in the game of DDWRT so I am just shooting from the hip something I know I had to do for good solid connection.

Router: Netgear XR500
Version: DD-WRT v3.0-r61824 std (06/20/25)
File: dd-wrt-webupgrade.bin
Kernel: Linux 6.1.141-rt28 #587 SMP Mon Jun 16 10:57:03 +07 2025 armv7l
Previous: DD-WRT v3.0-r61745 std (06/12/25)
Reset: No
Mode: Gateway, DNSCrypt via included package, wlan0(1) AP, (5GHz radio broken).
Status: Ok
Uptime: ~20 min
Issues/Errors: None except as noted. SFE (only, no other options) enabled / disabled working to allow obtaining WAN IP. 2.4 LED is random (as already noted for R7800). Flashed this release simply to check for bootloop after flash without incident. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

Maybe I did something wrong, i dont know. But the older Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r61238 std (05/12/25) is working stable. This latest release was not stable for me.

EDIT 23 June 2025: As of this morning before work everything seemed stable. After my second flash the 5GHz signal, while showing weaker signal in Network manager (cinnamon desktop), the speeds were faster. I will chalk this up as i did not do something correct until second flash. Thanks brainslayer and devs!
MR7350: I just lost all ability to connect wifi and wired... after hours. Reset button got back in. I then flashed the build again and re set up restoring my settings I backed up from first install. I will see how this goes.
I noticed spotty internet. I was able to ping over 5Ghz my router ip, then it ... stopped. Tried 2.4Ghz dead, tried ethernet dead. turned off back on - dead. hard reset - factory settings was able to get in, then died. hard reset one more time and reflashed the build again not keeping settings. this is where I am currently at after second flash. US Eastern time 1626 hours.

Guess dnsmasq settings are not translating from r60771?
also - how do I compress long logs, code, list, list= did not do the trick, and this is too long in my opinion. I have seen people make it smaller and pop out when you click it - I do not know the command.
Router/Version: Asus rt-ax89x rev.B2
File/Kernel: Linux 6.6.94-rc1-rt29 #3541 SMP Fri Jun 20 05:16:51 +07 2025 aarch64
Previous/Reset: 61238\Yes
Mode/Status: AP, SFE, PANAMA domain, Advanced Settings manual 36 dBm on both radios, but show only 30dBm in GUI.
Issues/Errors: Yes. After upgrade from 61238 to ANY new build (all versions tryed, including previous 61745), after reset to factory defaults, SSID 2,4Ghz not visible if I connected to 5Ghz. But if I manual disconnect device from 5Ghz, I can see both radios. If I connected to 2,4Ghz, 5Ghz visible. Very strange behavior.
Only difference what I found in GUI after build from 61238, that MAC address 2,4Ghz and 5Ghz the same in wireless tab in information string "HWAddr":
In build 61238 in wireles tab MAC's are different:
SSID [dd-wrt-5G] HWAddr [xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:EE]
SSID [dd-wrt] HWAddr [xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:EF]
In builds AFTER 61238 in wireles tab MAC's the same:
SSID [dd-wrt-5G] HWAddr [xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:EC]
SSID [dd-wrt] HWAddr [xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:EC]
So I have to stay now at build 61238 as the last usable buld with no issues for me.
Is there any advance settings that need to do, that the 2,4Ghz radio will be visible if I connected to 5Ghz or can it be fixed in future builds? My setup is almost basic.
Thank You!!!

Flashed this release simply to check for bootloop after flash without incident.
In my case same happens to R7800 too...bootloop
I had no bootloop. Therefore, it's configuration-related. Or methodology of flashing. Serial logs and all applicable configuration details or it didn't happen. And this isn't necessarily my own words, but a paraphrase.
provided logs already, no serial... bootloop happens when VPN client is enabled...it is related to specific config...but as you may find there are some other reports...bootloop related..
I hope it will be fixed.. _________________ Atheros

Stubby DNS over TLS I DNSCrypt v2 by mac913
Good day to all!!!
smartdns stops working on request (after several hours of normal operation)
The smartdns + dnsmasq bundle works for the internal zone free-adm.ru
Code:
❯ dig @195.0.1.254 -p 6053 www.google.com +short
;; communications error to 195.0.1.254#6053: timed out
;; communications error to 195.0.1.254#6053: timed out
;; communications error to 195.0.1.254#6053: timed out
This explains many problems. I also partially use smartdns on the router from my PC, since dnscrypt-proxy cannot filter responses by record types (or rather, it can, but it is difficult to implement)

Great, then I was not the only one who had issues after r61238.

good news. bootloop is fixed. it was related to a cryptodev change and affects mainly wrt1900/wrt3200acm and r7800 based devices. dont know why it didnt crash on ipq807x.
but anyway. i was able to reproduce it and fixed it and the fixed version didnt come up with that issue. i will now delete the last 3 versions from the download server and build everything new overnight. _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking?
