Welcome to Marvell r61711 beta release thread for reporting, feedback to developers and community benefit.
Please do not flash builds until installation is understood, risks involved and device specific recovery methods.

List router model & version or revision, operating & wireless modes & exact filename/firmware image flashed.


CLI Flash: 'cd /tmp' then 'wget {file URL}' (http only) or 'curl -O {file URL}' (http, https, ftp) 'write {file} linux' then 'reboot'.

Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
WebUI: Clear history or use a portable. Temporary cache bypass: Ctrl+F5, Cmd+Shift+R or new private window/incognito.
Please report findings with steps needed to reproduce, configuration, clients, output, logs and important information below!

Important:
Detail issues & relevant configs, logs: syslog klog 'dmesg' 'cat /tmp/var/log/messages' nvram set console_debug=1, serial.
• Firewall NAT: 'iptables -vnL' 'iptables -t nat -vnL' 'iptables -t mangle -vnL' & 'cat /tmp/.ipt'. Debug Analyze: strace tcpdump.
• Gremlins: reboot. cold boot. Reset & reconfigure not restore backup. Search Trac & discuss in forum before opening tickets.
• Include operating & wireless modes (e.g. Gateway, Router, AP, SB, WDS, Mesh) and applicable configurations to reproduce.

Previous/Reset: 59045/Factory Reset
Mode/Status: AP
Issues/Errors: SFE still not working. Internet speed slow when enabled. Cannot run a speed test when it's enabled. Back to 59045.

You're supposed to disable SFE to get higher speeds.

Speedtest seems to disagree.

(Note, no VPN was in use at the time of the test.)

And again, as sir @egc already stated, things are broken at the moment and probably related to DSA and ongoing development. Normally and historically, SFE accelerates NAT and provides better throughput. It would be great to know if the OEM fastpath option were able to work with DSA or previous switch driver code with current Linux 6.1 kernel in use for MVBEU targets.

Just curious if anyone knows, months ago the issue involving SFE was that having it enabled would lead to random crashes/reboots with these routers, but people are referencing slowdowns with it now - for anyone who used to get those crashes and has re-enabled this, are those resolved at least?
