Router Model TP-Link TL-WR841ND v11
Firmware Version DD-WRT v3.0-r61337 std (05/17/25)
Kernel Version Linux 3.18.140-d6 #239571 Sat May 17 11:51:38 +07 2025 mips
Upgrade from r61298 via CLI
Working OK as AP, N/G mixed, HT40
Issues: nothing new and/or important.
This seems to be a good firmware, I managed to get an A at this this bufferbloat test with QoS, HFSC + FQ_Codel. Usually I get a D or C. I know there are many variables involved with these tests, including crowding in my wifi neigborhood at the time of the test, but I like to believe it's a win for this firmware.
Many thanks to BS! _________________ Router:TP-Link TL-WR841ND v11

Decided to try this build on my DIR-862L before attempting it on my EA8500. Successfully flashed via the web interface. After reboot, web GUI was inaccessible. SSH was still useable and attempted the reboot command.
Despite only being a 3rd router on the network with only wired connections to my PC, a printer, network storage drive and the wired connection to my EA8500; attempting the reboot command ended up bringing down internet connectivity for all devices on my network including wired and wireless clients connected to my EA8500 AP and the ISP provided Gateway/AP. SSH was also no longer accessible and I had to physically power off/on.
Segregated the 862L from the rest of the network and tried to access the web GUI - it started to load but was incomplete/corrupt and then became inaccessible. SSH was accessible. Powered off/on again to be safe and used SSH to revert back to r60742 and all is well again.

I have experienced the same with my R7800 in both Firefox and Chrome, latest versions, on my Linux Mint work station. I have since installed Palemoon and with that browser there is no crashing of https.
How do I know it’s https crashing when there’s nothing about that in the log?
Well, if you log in to the router with ssh and restart httpd, the gui starts responding again without having to reboot the router.
I think the commands are: stopservice httpd && startservice httpd, but you could search the forum for the correct syntax which is different from that on my LMDE 6 workstation.
As long as you have a gui page open in another browser, Palemoon can’t prevent httpd crashing sometimes. I do use Firefox to save GUI settings pages as html files with Save Page WE, but better close the page right away.

This sounds like somehow a network loop was created, which would pretty much kill all network activity, including wifi and wan.
I have experienced this as well with a far downstream (from gateway) EA8500 having the ability to totally paralyse my network. I attributed it to a double NAT condition and still think it was, but in your case, seems different. Do you happen to have the WAN connected to anything, or only the LAN ports? _________________ - Linksys EA8500: I-Gateway, WAP/VAP 5ghz only. Features: VLANs, Samba, WG, Entware - r60xxx

Port status came back with the previous build, but on this build in my R7800 it is preparing for something that isn't there. Three boxes to the right of wan without content.
The previous build showed only the 4 lan ports and wan. Something changed with the last update.
