Hello Community,
I took my new fibre connection as opportunity to change my network- / router setup.
Because I missed stock features like wifi-scheduling and setting of specific tx values, I now use DD-WRT (v3.0-r44715 std (11/03/20))
Great ROM.
Drawback: Internet speed is cut to 700-730 Mbps. It's not a big concern but stock delivered full bandwidth (930+).
From forums I learned it's the broadcomm closed architecture with its CTF (fa).
This ROM lacks these features.
Will there be a new ROM with these features? Although this question sounds rather naive after the latest release dating back to 2020.
And is it possible to fine-tune wifi-scheduling by half hours?
Coming from such an old version, you will need to reset your router and rebuild your settings by hand. Just screen grab your pages for reference first. _________________ - Linksys EA8500: I-Gateway, WAP/VAP 5ghz only. Features: VLANs, Samba, WG, Entware - r60xxx
