I upgraded my old DIR-880L to r60276 and after a while, started smelling something hot. Traced the hot smell to the DIR-880L!

DD-wrt says the core temp is 84 C in a 21 C ambient room. Not doing any over clocking, etc. The internet download speed improved once r60276 installed but concerned about the core temp.

The previous dd-wrt version was r59883. Ended up putting the DIR-880L on top of a small box fan to get the core temp down to 57 C until my MR7500-AX replacement arrived/configured.

Anyone else seeing high core temps recently on their broadcom based routers?

TIA
