Leave gateway and Local DNS at its default 0.0.0.0
I restored to the old firmware, now everything seems back to normal, for today I do not touch anything. The anger for the malfunction and the annoying message was enough for me. Thank you!
Wifi channels are only available in regulatory domains that allow them. That is per the developer.
Thats the point, regulatory domain "germany" allows them.
But last two or three releases do not offer them anymore in my MR7350, in any regulatory setting I tested.
I even dusted of my old R7800 today, flashed this release aaaand the setting is limited to 1-11, no higher channels available anymore.

Update method: WebUpgrade
Router/Version: Linksys MR7350 x2
File/Kernel: 60511 / Linux 6.6.83-rt29 #3000 SMP Thu Mar 27 07:11:53 +07 2025 aarch64
Previous/Reset: 60284 and the other router from 60098 / no
Mode/Status: Gateway / no Wifi on either router
The WLAN 0 and WLAN 1 temperature is showing as 0 Celsius. No wifi available, no SSID's showing. LAN connection fine (if you can see this message )
This is the same for both MR7350 routers. Thought the first one had decided to die!
Will try the next update when it comes out.
Went back to 60284 (on main router) but had to reboot 3 times before any wifi devices could connect to router even though the SSID's were visible, just couldn't connect.
All ok on 60284 now.
Thank you anyway - I know a lot of work goes into this so appreciate what we have and the work that gets put into this, even if it doesn't always work for me. (Although this is the first time it hasn't worked for me)
If you want me to do diagnostics then tell me EXACTLY what to do in baby steps as if explaining to a 2 year old chimp. The other router is off but has the non-working (for me) 60511 on it for now.
Router/Version: Netgear R7800
File/Kernel: DD-WRT v3.0-r60511 std (03/28/25)
Previous/Reset: DD-WRT v3.0-r60269 std (03/12/25)
Mode/Status: Normal
Issues/Errors: Unsolvable DNS problems. If left at default, DNS 192.168.1.1 does not work, but even if manually set 8.8.8.8, 1.1.1.1, 4.4.4.4 and 1.0.0.1 does not work. Result: does not browse at all. Anger and wasted hours... Solutions?
Now I am using an "emergency" connection.
I did some tests but the only situation where dd-wrt returns to work correctly is when I completely disable the SPI firewall.
In all other cases, slowdowns or complete blocking of communications to/from the internet are noted. I also tried to enable only SPI without the other options and at the moment everything seems to work regularly. Activating "Impede WAN DoS / brute force" there are no problems, activating the "Additional filters" you notice a slight slowdown but it continues to work.
When I enable "Block WAN requests", the items that slow down or block communication seem to be "Detect and Block Port Scanners" and "IDENT (Port 113)". They probably seem to affect the DNS lookup. I'm leaving them disabled for now to see if everything still works. I hope you can check and fix any malfunctions.
Update: after a while the problems returned. Big slowdowns and then communications resumed. Objectively it is complicated to understand why... I think they depend on the firewall options
Thanks.
scanning ports with grc shows ssh, 53, 80, 443, 853 are open not using 'tarpit'...while on 60121 shows all stealth..
Could it be due to the new firewall options?
I guess no one read, understood, or believed my earlier build reports?

Enabling Filter TCP-SYN floods causes most ports to be non-stealth and some open on a GRC scan. I found external ssh login attempts even though I have Remote access ssh management disabled and allow any remote IP disabled. Detect and block port scanners didn't seem to influence the GRC results.

I can confirm the non-stealth ports with TCP-SYN flood protection enabled still exists.

How do you have these routers connected? Is the second one a wired access point, or are you using Mesh (802.11s), WDS, or something else?
My main router and my two wired APs (all MR7350s) are connecting fine on 60511, and I'm not seeing the wireless temp issue. Perhaps post a screenshot of your wireless settings. _________________ Formerly dpp3530 Linksys MR7350

Hi,
The second router is just a backup and not switched on unless the first one goes down. I usually cycle the updates/routers just in case but made an exception this time as I thought there was a hardware problem
