some people may have noticed that the server is sometimes responding slow or gives error messages like "service unavailable". the reason is simple. we are currently under heave ddos attacks. the origin is mainly brazil right now. another problem are so called AI crawlers who try to download every bullhit from the internet without taking care about rate limiting and robots.txt. so i show the finger to openai, bytedance, alibaba, baidu and other major wanna be internet companies who doesnt give a shit about stable infrastructure and still think that ai is real inteligence and not just stealing information out of other peoples work. such careless usage of bad coded crawlers can be counted as sabotage and criminal activity.

we are working on that issue and of course we filter such crawlers or returning simply random generated bullshit content to them. for the ddos attacks its a little bit more complicated since its hard to filter 100k of individual ip addresses. but we are working on a solution
