Issues/Errors: although "turn off radio" and "turn off enable at boot" are both set to enabled, WiFi are active at boot. I attach screenshots.

I don't think the WPS button on the R7800 was ever enabled in DD-WRT. Probably need GPIO data Cool

On another 7800 and in previous versions the problem does not arise. It should probably be reset and reprogrammed again. At the moment I don't have time but as soon as possible I will try to do this test.

Router/Version: Linksys MR7350
File: dd-wrt-webupgrade.bin
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r59468 std (02/02/25) (prev. DD-WRT v3.0-r59369 std (01/26/25))
Kernel: Linux 6.6.74-rt29 #2402 SMP Sat Feb 1 21:24:19 +07 2025 aarch64
Mode: Gateway, SFE disabled, 2.4G and 5G wifi, bridged VAP on 2.4GHz, Wireguard for external access, WAN disabled, Keep Alive reboot 6:02 in the morning, using my own local NTP
Reset: No
Status: OK, but for now my 5GHz WiFi is set to N only, cause higher modes including AC or AX only/mixed dont work well with both of my tablets.
E.G Downloadtest on nperf.com stalls, upload no problem. (A test on nperf.com results in Download fluctuating between 1.5 Mbit/s and Upstream maxing out.) This problem is happening since the very first DD-WRT Release I flashed on the 7350.
Both tablets were working on my R7800 without problem.

Here an excerpt of the logfile, during the downloadtest on my blackview tab12 pro this happens:

Router/Version: Linksys MR7500
File: dd-wrt-webupgrade.bin
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r59468 std (02/02/25)

Status:: Boy is this thing fast! My Nothing Phone 2a reaches almost 900 Mbit/s and doesnt even support WiFi6E only WiFi 6! On WiFi 6E with its dedicated 6GHz Interface against a MSI WiFi 6E AXE5400 USB Adaptor I was able to top througput against internal and external iperf3 server at ~1Gb/s.
Its WAN Interface syncs against 1, 2.5 and 5 Gbit/s Eth.
Since my external iperf Server is only capable of 2.5GB Ethernet I tested it against the Router and maxed out the connection, too. With no retransmissions!

Unfortunately I have to return it since Amazon broke the cover... new one on the way!

As with every release since r59171, no VAP DHCP service. Clients can connect but they are not served IP addresses and cannot reach the WAN. Reverted to r59171 and all is well.

Many warnings in the log such as "daemon.warn dnsmasq-dhcp[2497]: DHCP packet received on wlan1.1 which has no address" Syslog attached

I sent BS an email last night, he says it was fixed in 59514, but I just loaded it and my unbridged VAP on 5ghz is still busted. Sending BS new emails.

Thanks. I'll try the next release and see if it works. I have a VAP on the 2.4GHz radio only.

2.4ghz Vaps appeared to connect properly via the info tab with correct connection rates. I didn't linger long enough on the 59514 build long enough to check for 100%; but I suspect 2.4ghz will work ok.

My unbridged 5GHZ VAP is the only one I had feedback on and I don't use DHCP as IPs are hardcoded. SSID wouldn't stay on long enough to connect.

I proceeded to reset and reconfigure the 7800 from scratch but the problem remains. I confirm the problem, unless it has been disabled recently on 7800, the service has always worked correctly. Please check, thank you.

Regarding the
Code:
ath11k c000000.wifi: Spurious quick kickout for STA a6:24:24:b4:cd:4e
error and
Code:
for now my 5GHz WiFi is set to N only, cause higher modes including AC or AX only/mixed dont work well with both of my tablets.
E.G Downloadtest on nperf.com stalls, upload no problem. (A test on nperf.com results in Download fluctuating between 1.5 Mbit/s and Upstream maxing out.) This problem is happening since the very first DD-WRT Release I flashed on the 7350.
behaviour of my MR7350.

I bit the bullet and redid the config from scratch.
nvram erase a reboot and a few dozen swearwords / minutes later everything is working.
I set the 5GHz Interface to AX / AC / N mixed, everything is fine, both tablets can now run iperf or nperf and downstream does not fail anymore.
I have no clue what I did change from previous configuration this time, since it is similar to the one before (according to screenshots).
But everything is fine now Smile

EDIT
Nope, now my tablets cease to work after a few minutes again.
Code:

ath11k c000000.wifi: Spurious quick kickout for STA 40:45:da:23:6c:4e

Back to N only.

Update method: WebUpgrade
Router/Version: Linksys MR5500 V1
File/Kernel: DD-WRT v3.0-r59468 std (02/02/25) // Linux DD-WRT 6.6.74-rt29 #2404 SMP Sun Feb 2 04:49:13 +07 2025 aarch64 DD-WRT
Previous/Reset: 59171 / yes
Mode/Status: Gateway / ok
Issues/Errors: update: USB still not seen on MR5500

EDIT: DISCONNECT SOLVED - please see post below.

This is the first build I tried since 59171 which I was able to boot. I did have to hard reset and manually set back up. Everything except USB seems to be working. at time of typing Time: 18:11:30 up 19 min. USB again tried Fat32 and ext2 formatted thumb drives. Wireless 2.5 & 5.0 & Ethernet all working. (have set up as a sub-net off main router).
2.4 WPA2 & WPA3: CCMP-128, CCMP-256, GCMP-256
5.0 WPA3 only: CCMP-128, CCMP-256, GCMP-256

EDIT: after using router to stream some audio, it last about 5 minutes then all TX/RX seems to stop. Connection stays connected. unable to access anything, DDWRt sign in or existing web page. // Second time disconnect I went to speedof.me - and it disconnected. After reboot, logs below. Look like the router tough an attack was coming in. However, this happened with streaming on rumble as well (previous stop TX/DX)

Update method: WebUpgrade
Router/Version: Linksys MR5500 V1
File/Kernel: DD-WRT v3.0-r59468 std (02/02/25) // Linux DD-WRT 6.6.74-rt29 #2404 SMP Sun Feb 2 04:49:13 +07 2025 aarch64 DD-WRT
Previous/Reset: 59171 / yes
Mode/Status: Gateway / ok
Issues/Errors: update: USB still not seen on MR5500

update: this is the most stable build to date I have tested for this router. Setting the ipv6 in Prefix Delegation with static DNS I no longer have the disconnect issue. Obviously setting issue I was having with this as a second router.
Modem -> main router (MT6000) -> DDWRT Router (MR5500), different subnetworks

I am not sure exactly what this did, but it worked.

I've been running build 59468 on my XR500 since it was published.
On previous builds it ran very reliably.
On build 59468 I've experienced a crash of the httpd service and a loss of wireless service on both bands each once at different occasions before today.
This morning right before upgrading to today's build 59582, I noticed the httpd service was gone again. I have an rsyslog server running and I got a log of my attempts at starting httpd again. First I just issued startservice httpd a few times, but it didn't help, so I did a stopservice httpd first.

Attached are the related log messages.
They mention /usr/lib/libwireless.so somewhere, which looks strange since afaik wireless service was still ok.

I have updated the router to build 59582 since that, some 10 minutes ago.

EDIT:
The latest 59582 build also had its httpd crash a few minutes ago, but it recovered by itself, as can be seen in the syslog (Naamloos document 6.txt attachment; the first shown).

I'm aware this latest observation concerns the latest build, not the build of this thread. I can post it again, when the thread for the new build arrives.
