Fast upgrade on the EA8500s, However the r7800 was a little different. After upgrade I waited a full 10 min with no GUI, (White page) or connection. Been typical lately. Powered off/on ... waited 10 min again. Nothing. Repeated this several more times, waiting a while in between. After 4th-5th try it came back, but not on the other partition like I thought but with the r59045 upgrade and a full reset. Added my settings in and all is well again. Uptime on previous r58950 was 8 days 16 hrs. on all 3 with no issues. Thanks BS and gang ! _________________ ......All GOOD here... Just Handshakes and Time Stamps !......

Seems to be working fine.

Linksys MR7350 with this release.
I want to scrap my old DDWRT Router.
How do I debug this:
Code:
Jan 9 09:58:57.765 MR7350 kern.warn kernel: [ 195.548674] ath11k c000000.wifi: Spurious quick kickout for STA a6:24:24:b4:cd:4e
WiFi Settings:
Radio Mode: AP
Domain: GERMANY
Network Mode: AC only also same for AX / AC / N mixed
Channel width: 20 MHz also same for 40 and 80 MHz
Channel: 100
Extension: Upper
Advanced settings are default.
The device(s) in question connect to a R7800 sporting the very same release and AC settings, without any problems.
On the MR7350 they cannot receive Data reliably.
Throughput Router to device is oscillating between a few Kb qnd up to 20 Mbit/s.
Throughput device towards Router is maxing out at ~31x Mbit/s
After tests the syslog is filled with above cited messages.
For now I went ahead and set the mode to N-only 5GHz, 40MHz width, channel 100.
This is working for all my devices in 5GHz WiFi but limiting the speed by a big margin.

Previous/Reset: dd-wrt-webupgrade-ea8500-r58976.bin / No reset
Mode/Status: 802.11s Secondary Node on 5ghz to extend vlan trunk
Issues/Errors: MESH not working
I initially installed r59045 on an EA8500 which is the secondary node of my 802.11s MESH. It will not connect to the Primary Node MX4300. So I thought maybe the Primary node (MX4300) also needs r59045 for this to work. So I updated this one too. Still not connecting. I had to revert to r58976 on the EA8500 before it would connect back to the MESH. The MX4300 is still on r59045.
I looked through the SVN to see if I could find the change, but could not find anything obvious for the EA8500, but something certainly changed here. I will leave it on r58976 until hopefully a future release fixes this.
EDIT: I set SFE to Disabled and switched the radio fw from DDWRT to Vanilla. Made no difference. Still will not connect using r59045. _________________ - Linksys EA8500: I-Gateway, WAP/VAP 5ghz only. Features: WDS-AP, VLANs, Samba, WG, Entware - r59429

Okay, I did find something in SVN that could be the cause. Looks like this was added to circumvent a vulnerability in WPA3 authentication, CVE-2023-52424. Whether this is the cause, I do not know, but I suspect it has something to do with it. This option appears under the wireless security tab. It is only shown if WPA3 is selected and is defaulted to disabled. It only shows up on AX routers and NOT the EA8500 which is why I suspect this could be the issue.
EDIT: It does show up on the EA8500. I just didn't refresh my cache. Sorry for the brainfart.
Is anybody else experiencing this issue with 802.11s connections?
EDIT2: This seems to be fixed in the latest Alpha release. _________________ - Linksys EA8500: I-Gateway, WAP/VAP 5ghz only. Features: WDS-AP, VLANs, Samba, WG, Entware - r59429
