Reason being, builds after 55630 have questionable reliability and the third radio is missing at some point, causing further issues. 58568 is the current release and I am giving it a test with some noted changes in my configuration.
I have been trying for a long time to find a stable version for wrt1200ac (v2),unfortunately without success.
I am currently using the old version v3.0-r32597 std (07/08/17).
What stable firmware can you recommend from your personal experience?
Thanks

Hi,
I am the proud owner of WRT1900ACS (V2) for 5-6 years with dd-wrt installed.
It seems that there are no new formal /stable versions for 4 years.
Is it still safe to use?
Is there any other recommended build to use?
Thanks!
I run 53633 (10/14/2023) on mine and it is extremely stable. I run SmartDNS, Wireguard, USB/NAS, and other services without problems. That is the last build with the old kernel. Newer builds since then have been problematic for me due to USB/NAS issues and random reboots, but I have not tried some of the newer builds in the last month. If you are upgrading from a build that is 4 years old, I would consider upgrading with a reset and manual reconfiguration.

Glad to find this thread! I'm new. I also have the WRT1900ACS (V2) and installed 44715 that works. I am using OpenVPN with protonVPN. I tried to upgrade to several newer versions and it screwed things up. Luckily I recovered and am back to 44715.
Is it safe to keep 44715?
Is 53633 or the newer 55630 the best? (or is there now a newer better version)?

If you are running a fairly simple config with an OpenVPN client I recommend r55630 or with Wireguard I can recommend the r58753 release.
But . . .
I switched from ExpressVPN to ProtonVPN several months ago.
With r55630 and previous releases ProtonVPN OpenVPN client runs perfectly. Any release after r55630 will not connect via my ProtonVPN OpenVPN config.
Both my 1200's are currently running r58753 with no issues except I have to run a ProtonVPN Wireguard setup via a tunnel as my ProtonVPN OpenVPN config still won't connect.
The OpenVPN issue may be ONLY with ProtonVPN configs?? Other vpn providers may connect with no issues??
My simple setup has two wired and about 12 wireless connections, 3 Roku's on static leases (also bypassing the vpn), DNS via Quad9 and a vpn.
So, other than the OpenVPN issue, with my simple config, all the most recent releases work well for me on my 1200's. If you have complicated config . . trial and error is the best I can suggest. At the minimum I would suggest r55630 if you are running the ProtonVPN OpenVPN client.
