hi. i am noob with linux. in openwrt we simply install via lucy and program start working, here in ddwrt after 3 days i finally managed to install entware and aria2. now am stuck nothin come in services tab. then i install webui-aria2-master in windows , but no connection. my head is bouncin around now . please help...! Thanks.
Anything installed via Entware will not show up in Services. You will need to manually start it. The best way to initially test it is to ssh or telnet into your router and try running it from the command line. Looks like #aria2c is the command to start it up. Once you manually get it configured and working, then you can add it to your Adminstration/Commands/Startup Commands so it starts at boot time. _________________ - Linksys EA8500: I-Gateway, AP/VAP 5ghz only r57753: Features: WDS-AP, VLANs, Samba, WG, Entware

thanks for quick reply, i did as you says, but its not working , give following error .
Looks like it crashes on startup. Maybe something in the config file can be changed to allow it to run? I know nothing about aria2.
You will most likely need to the ping the devs over at Entware and report the issue. _________________ - Linksys EA8500: I-Gateway, AP/VAP 5ghz only r57753: Features: WDS-AP, VLANs, Samba, WG, Entware

Well, first of all, adding another torrent client is superfluous since DD-WRT for your router includes Transmission. Second of all, it seems that launching this that way via CLI requires a destination file to download, but may be required to start as a service. I'm not going to look into any dependencies as Entware should've advised this information.
