I am trying to use my ONT-connected Ausus RT-AC5300 router (running latest DD-WRT firmware)to get internet but nothing's working. I live in New Zealand and have an active One NZ fibre connection. I have been told I need to set DHCP/IPoE as the authentication type with VLAN 10 tagging on the WAN interface.
I can't find 'VLAN 10' tagging anywhere and it's still unclear which authentication/connection type I need - my ISP's 'how to connect' page only specifies modem settings and these settings have no verbatim equivalent in my DD-WRT GUI.
By latest, you mean 03-06-2024-r55303 we hope. _________________ "The woods are lovely, dark and deep,

Thanks for all your help so far. I am a networking noob and I'm finding it hard following your directions. I have upgraded to the firmware you suggested. The router's ethernet cable connect light is on as well as the globe symbol light (connected to internet?). The ethernet cable is plugged into the router's blue-coloured internet port, not a LAN port. This ethernet cable is plugged into LAN 1 (light showing connected) on the ONT.
I thought I'd post some screenshots of what I think are the tabs on my router I need to make changes to.
