Hi All,

I have a android-media-streamer-box wired to a router-with-ddwrt-and-vpn. The router-with-ddwrt-and-vpn is connected to the main router upstream.
(I have this setup because if I install the VPN on android-media-streamer-box, then the apps detect it)

I want ONLY this android-media-streamer-box traffic to pass through VPN. The router-with-ddwrt-and-vpn does not have wifi or any other wired connections (except the upstream main router)

Is this setup valid? Do I need to consider anything else?

My main question is, should I put this router-with-ddwrt-and-vpn in 'gateway' mode or 'router' mode?

When ask around, always state your router model.firmware number on it..it helps a lot..

do not touch Router mode unless you know what to do with it...even WAP can be used in Gateway mode so, stick to Gateway..
