I noticed my time update was corrected by 24 mins tonight. I thought the router must not be keeping time but I when back thru the logs and seen nist gave it the wrong time.
Anyone seen that before?

Log times are shown in utc

Moved to General. Generic is for code-development related topics.

most likely you are using one of the nist pool servers, therefore you are relayed to someone volunteering their server. It is entirely possible that that time server is incorrect... This is really why the actual suggestion by Network Time Foundation is to use at least 3 servers if you want accurate time.

How often do you have a time sync?

I doubt that it hurt anything from your logs... The fun part I have had is when syncing files and one says the time is in the future and will not sync Confused

but unless you are trying to reconstruct events as long as the time in incrementing on the router I would not worry
