Posted: Thu Nov 16, 2023 6:05 Post subject: DD-WRT Proxmox VM USB Devices will not remount on reboot
I have a issue with trying to set up logging on my DD-WRT VM System is running under proxmox and the issue I am having is with assigning USB devices to the router. If I plug the USB stick into the assigned port DD-WRT will auto mount the stick without any issue however on reboot of the VM DD-WRT cannot see or mount the USB drive same behavior occurs with the SD card reader the only fix to this so far is to physically disconnect and reconnect the drive. I am unsure if this is a DD-WRT issue or something caused by Proxmox but either way I need some kind of work around that will allow me to script a way to replicate the act of unplugging and reconnecting the usb stick at startup without actually physically doing so
