Yes, it seems that everything is fine, I actually watched a 4k movie on TV through SmartShare LG and everything ran without problems for 3 hours, related to the ping thing, the second device in the house with is an ONT in which the fiber is connected at my internet provider and it has the address 192.168.0.1 and I set ddwrt 192.168.15....

yes, it seems that the reboot also works, it seems that the ping is interrupted, I don't know what it was!

Tried this build with WRT3200ACM (not resetting).

After some time it consistently becomes unresponsive on Ethernet connection.

I had to revert to the previous partition with build r52459 (05/08/23) which I haven't updated in a while.

Which VPN? OpenVPN, WireGuard, SoftEther, PPTP?

If you are talking about OpenVPN add in the OpenVPN Additional Config:
Code:

disable-dco

OpenVPN
I added disable-dco in the config but did not make any difference.
Rolled back to R53562, and I did leave the parm disable-dco in the config
Will not connect to VPN site using firmware above R53562

For 13 hours it has been working without problems both on the cable side and on wifi, a tip, switch to the latest version of Linux firmware 4.14 and from there without keeping the settings switch to this version!

the temperatures are very good without a fan, the ambient temperature in the room is 22 degrees

Which one is the latest with 4.14 and why is it needed? Also, is settings wipe recommended? I started getting problems when I kept the settings and I wonder if it's because kernel jumped from 4.x to 6.x.

For troubleshooting make a separate thread and post a screenshot of your openvpn config page and screenshot of the OpenVPN status page (whole page) or better output of : grep -i openvpn /var/log/messages
Furthermore tell us to what provider you are setting up and what instructions you followed to setup.

UPDATE: At around ~33 hours' uptime, the router UI became unresponsive and eventually rebooted itself back to this release. Currently at ~16 hours uptime, tailing syslogs in PuTTY. If I have time, I will connect serial, but other priorities are precedent.

EDIT: Could've been a fluke, could've been tabbing through webUI and changes related to libatomic, etc. since 53815. I usually wait on a 0 or 5 alpha or beta or specific changes to update, and not sure if any commits since 53915 will affect things or not. Will update after future firmware upgrade.
