I would like to view client names as readable text rather than mac or ip addresses when i view the status > lan , status > wireless, status > sys info screens in ddwrt
I have added entries at services > dnsmask infrastructure > additional comments
example : dhcp-host=<mac address>,mynamehere
but this doesnt seem to populate all the status windows mentioned above. is there another way to tell ddwrt to show me 'my names' rather than ip and mac addr ? |

when adding names, they must not contain not allowed characters, intervals or if too long..
in general its been like that for a long time...no all client show names as well...no idea why, but its nothing new...
