So I am not sure where the problem lies. I installed man on the router via the Entware / optware. When I try to bring up a manual, such as on mount, this is what I get:
[[1mNAME[[0m
mount - mount filesystem
[[1mLIBRARY[[0m
Standard C library ([[4mlibc[[24m, [[4m-lc[[24m)
[[1mSYNOPSIS[[0m
[[1m#include <sys/mount.h>[[0m
[[1mint mount(const char *[[4m[[22msource[[24m[[1m, const char *[[4m[[22m
target[[24m[[1m,[[0m
[[1mconst char *[[4m[[22mfilesystemtype[[24m[[1m, unsigned long
[[4m[[22mmountflags[[24m[[1m,[[0m
[[1mconst void *[[4m[[22mdata[[24m[[1m);[[0m
[[1mDESCRIPTION[[0m
which makes it nigh impossible to read. I have seen this kind of thing before, back in the old DOS days. It would occur when you didn't have ansi.sys loaded. I see color in the terminal, so I don't know why the man pages are coming up this way. Is it an issue with a router config, do I need a code page or something? Is it my man files? my terminal configuration?
I have searched and found nothing, so I a, not even sure were to look at this point. Any direction, even to the nearest lake would be helpful. |
