Hi,
I have Linksys EA6900 v1.1, DD-WRT v3.0-r53221 std (07/08/23).
This router supports:
MIMO status 3x3:3
802.11ac up to 1300 Mbps
N-QAM up to 600 Mbps
However I'm only getting max of 433Mbps rate on 802.11ac 5Ghz even when i'm 3 feet away from it.
The device that is connected to the wifi supports more than 1300Mbps.
BTW when no user is connected the rate that is specified on the web gui Status -> Wireless is 1300Mbps
I've enabled
Explicit Beamforming
Implicit Beamforming
Channel width = 80Mhz (max for this router)
Extension Channel = upper lower
Channel = 157 (5.785Mhz) (I tried other channels without success)
Does anyone else have this problem?
Can it be fixed?

Best BCM wifi settings is a sticky in this forum.
Just set Channel 36.
My EA6900 has a PHY rate of 866 Mb/s paired to a Samsung S20 under ideal circumstance, e.g. clean spectrum, client beside the router.
Actual throughput is of course way less
If range is preferred, OP would need to set 5ghz control and extension channel to ones in the U-NII3 band (5.725-5.850ghz - channels 149-165) which allows for more output power than the U-NII1 band where 5ghz channel 36 resides _________________ LATEST DD-WRT FW IS LOCATED HERE: https://dd-wrt.com/support/other-downloads/?path=betas%2F
