I am now trying to get the VAP called CasaMikeJak working. I have set the same security key as the Huawei 4G signal and tried to set up the option needed in Setup-networking - I cannot connect to ssid CMJ but I can see that network configutation at the bottom of the screenshot does not have an IP address range assinged to ra1.

I have followed some instructions from https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Multiple_WLANs#DHCP
including setting up some additional DNSmsq parameters in DNSmasq infrastructure butI do not get connected to CasaMikeJak

having trouble attaching full screen copies of dd-wrt pages ....

Is the multiple DHCP server option not working on the Setup -< Networking tab (at bottom)? The option you're using has mixed results as well. You can screenshot the entire page via webcapture in Microsoft Edge.

last jpeg - hope they are legible - and just spotted typing error in Setup-networking Network Config for br1 ip address and corrected 192.68.2.1/24 to 192.168.2.1/24.
Still no ip address in DHCPD Mult DHCP Servers

just spotted this note in dd-wrt wiki for Multiple WLANS

I do have SPI firewall enabled in Security tab - there is no mention in the dd-wrt WIKI for repeater bridge of disabling this setting??

Upgraded firmware but still no IP assigned to Mult DHCP Servers

You have to select br1 as interface and not ra1
Then you can also delete the nonsense from the additional dnsmasq options

Exactly what @ho1Aetoo said, as I was alluding to before in my previous comment. Also, you don't necessarily need the firewall rules unless you expect to access the webUI over wireless, which I do not advise.

Now have ip adress 192.168.2.1/24 but still no connection from wifi devices just get "connection failed" - tried removing security but no effect- dd-wrt syslog attached "apd0 is not associated" - to what ?

This is the client interface "apcli0" that tries to connect to the AP router.

Thank you - could you tell me where it is in settings and how do I associate it with the correct part of network - tired eyes mis-read apd0

This is the WLAN interface you are using in client/station/repeater mode.

The VAP can only start when the main interface has established a connection, before that the VAP does not know which channel to select.

Thanks - progress made by fixing wifi channel at both AP and Repeater - device connected and received IP address in correct range but no access to internet - Will pick up tomorrow- thanks to all

still unable to get internet even though ip allocated - see attached.

I note time setting is wrong - will this affect internet connect ?
