Netgear R7800 Firmware Version Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r52869 std (06/02/23)
Kernel Version Linux 4.9.337 #1973 SMP Fri Jun 2 13:20:58 +07 2023 armv7l
Upgrade Method HTTPS via Web GUI
Previous Build/Reset r52651/NO
Up Time 30 minutes. Logs look good so far.
Configuration Type Gateway
WAN DHCP. LAN/wlan0 5Ghz vanilla VHT80+80 br0 with AP Mesh attached. Wlan0.1 Isolated AP Isolated network with FW rule(s) to wlan1 resource(s). Wlan1 2.4Ghz Vanilla 20/40 without Masquerade/NAT. Wlan1.1 Isolated AP and Isolated network. All clients with static leases x4 DHCP. MAC Filtering. Access restrictions. Ignore WAN DNS with static DNS servers, DNSMASQ, cached DNSSEC, Validate DNSSEC replies, no DNS rebind, Query DNS strict order. WPA 3 and WPA 2. Syslogd to FS on br0 LAN. Cooling fan USB attached. WAN traffic counter.
Everything functioning without issue. Thanks BS and team!
ISSUE DISCOVERED around 52671 or so.... but is happening daily with this version, though.
Everyday after an access restriction finishes, the clients do not have access to internet services. Only need to go to the access restrictions and hit apply to make the connections work again. This needs to be done daily following the blocked schedule now.

Issues: Last several updates, router will not complete boot on its own, is unreachable. Have to power cycle router to reboot and it then loads and works fine including startup script. Power cycle or reboot takes 2.5 - 3 minutes. _________________ - a candle loses nothing by lighting another candle

Yes, I've been facing the same issue. After updating I have to turn power off to router and then turn it back on for it to start. As you said, started happening the past several updates.
I use Firefox and have to disable Avast before doing an update.

I think you need to erase nvram and then re-enter your settings manually. It sounds to me like your nvram has something corrupted or incorrect. I know this is a pain to do, but I've been there before and this does solve many issues. _________________ Netgear R9000

I did ask about this earlier in one of the New Build posts.
Because I made changes over time to some settings, I'm not sure what's the best way to capture current settings so that I can replicate that after erasing nvram.
Also, I think a post mentioned that telnet into dd-wrt and running - 'nvram erase && reboot' does not always work. I might be mistaken but that's what I understood.
So, should I telnet, run 'nvram show' save all settings in a file.
Run 'nvram erase && reboot'
run 'nvram show' again and save in another file
Compare the 2 files using winmerge or something.
Change current settings to old settings values wherever needed
Will that work?
