52671 is the current release as of this posting. The answer to this question will always be "the current release" until use-case and configurations or bugs determine otherwise. Please consider reporting in the build thread after upgrading. Thanks.

Thanks, I did go with r52671. I was already running AES 128 (not the combinarion with wit TKIP). I increased key renewal from 3600 to 14400 as suggested, though I doubt that would be relevant to some android app that at times drop several times in an hour).
I did notice a speedtest on a wired connection at about 700 mbits/sec against my Xfinity Gig (in bridge mode). I seem to remember doing better, but I stupidly didn't do a before and after test for comparison. Is there a setting that might have changed in doing a dirty flash over? In the back of my mind I seem to recall some parameter that helps with the high internet speed (wired, not wifi).
Also, I notice that its now ddwrtV2. Is the V2 relevant on the r7000?
Probably will be wiping out all that poppycock at some point. He's the only person having those issues, there are plenty of others who are reporting otherwise on current releases. Plus, this community is about DD-WRT, not other third-party firmware projects. I have a number of these routers, at least one runs my own FreshTomato builds, one runs a carefully and highly modified version of Netgear firmware, and at least one other runs DD-WRT. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"
