HI,
I'M using wireguard with torguard provider since a while, it is pretty stable but since a month, sometimes the wifi drops, and it seems to be in link with WG. One thing I see, torguard used port 51820 but now they used many ports, if I change my country, I got new port. Also their MTU is 1390.
ie: 54014 port / toronto
Do you think I need to use that port or I would be ok to use 51820?

The endpoint port, i.e. the port of the Torguard server, is unrelated to your own listen port.
When you contact the server you specify on which port you are listening and the server sends back on that port.
So you can use the same port but that should not be necessary.
MTU also should not be a problem as far as disconnections are concerned, it can be a problem with throughput, slow loading, problems with streaming media etc.
So if they specify to use an MTU of 1390 I would follow their advice.
I had issues with Torguard just dropping Wireguard connection, nothing changed just stopped, i had to regenerating new Wireguard config in their UI, as soon as I entered the config it worked again for x amount time and repeat.
May not be related, I am unsure if this is what is happening to you. _________________ Netgear R7800 PPPoE Main Router

I think now we dont have to renew the config anymore with torguard?
Don't use them anymore, the sudden Wireguard drop issue was doing the same on a router i look after. Their development team were aware of the issue at the time, it was a while ago so they may well have sorted the issue out now, I couldn't say, I wasn't sure if the problem was related to your issue or not. _________________ Netgear R7800 PPPoE Main Router

Is this drop issue still occurring? If so, I don't need to set up my Torguard Wireguard on my router.
If this issue is no longer, I want to try to add the tunnel. I tried in the past but never acquired a handshake. The problem is that the instructions from the Torguard website don't match the dd-wrt Tunnel page for Wireguard. I am using a recent version of dd-wrt. I am not smart enough to determine what goes where on the Tunnel page. Torguard's instructions need to be updated to match dd-wrt.
Is it possible for someone to take a screenshot of their Tunnel page, de-identify it, and post it here? That would help me greatly. _________________ Linksys WRT32X | DD-WRT v3.0-r51937 std (03/05/23) | macOS Ventura
Yes this is the wizard that needs updating. I tried following and I was not successful. I will keep trying. _________________ Linksys WRT32X | DD-WRT v3.0-r51937 std (03/05/23) | macOS Ventura
