Seeking a Linksys WRT1900ACSv2 to serve as a spare in a small fleet of same. My existing ones are getting old enough now that things are starting to fail, so a spare is called for. Will consider a v1 if no v2 appears.
Happy to have either Linksys or dd-wrt firmware on it - I'll upgrade quickly - but prefer not to deal with Flashrouters or ExpressVPN firmware. _________________ Netgear XR500 on 52369, 4x Linksys WRT1900ACSv2 on 51530: VLANs, VAPs, NAS, station mode, OpenVPN client (AirVPN), wireguard server (AirVPN port forward) and clients (AzireVPN, AirVPN, private), 3 DNSCrypt providers via VPN.
Why not get R7800... ? (I know what you prefer)...but if you consider a reasonable change... _________________ Atheros

Agree re R7800 if starting from scratch. I'm working on configuring one now. Unfortunately, entering (any of) my Byzantine configuration(s) manually into a router and getting it tested means many days of tedious effort, even using my crazy-hairy Makefile to do a lot of the heavy lifting.
Meanwhile I preside over a family (pack? pod? pride?) of five WRT1900ACSv2 routers with no spare and with most of them far away so that all maintenance is remote. If I have a spare of that exact model, configuring the replacement of a failing router is a simple matter of restoring a backup file. The most stressful part of the operation is finding a box for shipping the spare to the offspring in need!
And thanks for the links! Will certainly consider! _________________ Netgear XR500 on 52369, 4x Linksys WRT1900ACSv2 on 51530: VLANs, VAPs, NAS, station mode, OpenVPN client (AirVPN), wireguard server (AirVPN port forward) and clients (AzireVPN, AirVPN, private), 3 DNSCrypt providers via VPN.
I have two WRT1900ACv2 and five WRT1900AC if that will work for you? Located in the midwest.
Edit: Just remembered I also have one WRT1900ACSv2. _________________ Linksys: Several WRTxx00AC variations | Netgear: 4x WNDR4500v2, 7x WNDR4300, R6400v1 | Asus: 2x RT-AC66U | Gl.inet: 3x GL-AR150
