Just curious, did rolling back to r52095 fix the wireless speed issues you were having?

Thank you!

Yes, most of them. It looks like they may be related to this. My Regulatory Domain is United States, while this device is not Atheros the changes to some of the related code affect it.

Well the quote also refers to an error in the hosatpd configuration.
But Broadcom does not use hostapd at all.

The only change would be https://svn.dd-wrt.com/changeset/52148

I also don't think this commit applies since Broadcom doesn't have a superchannel nor a "vanilla / dd-wrt radio firmware".

Most of the changes related to the VHT160 problem concern builds >52148
(so do not apply to your build at all)

Right, something changed between the two builds that mangled wi-fi performance between the two builds on this device. When I have some time I'll check the difference but for now I have to go to work. It has something to do with VHT and regulatory domains. All of my Intel AX200 devices are affected.

said commit was already reverted again.
so there are only "switch changes" left on the list.

maybe just wait for the next build or test r52148 again.

Thanks for the reference point, it definitely affects wi-fi performance.

Broadcom is not ATH9K. How does an ATH9K associated code change affect Broadcom? How does ANY Atheros associated code change affect Broadcom, for that matter? <lol>

Well, I don't know what you've done with your router that may have contributed. I don't see any connection with ATH9K conditional compile statements and BRCM or BRCMMODERN or any other related to Broadcom or Northstar, so unless there is something that we're completely oblivious to, there is no connection to be made...

Maybe something in here?

https://svn.dd-wrt.com/changeset?old=52095&old_path=%2Fsrc%2Frouter%2Fservices%2Fnetworking%2Fgeneric%2Finterface.c&new=52145&new_path=%2Fsrc%2Frouter%2Fservices%2Fnetworking%2Fgeneric%2Finterface.c

I don't know, something changed and now it runs like poop!
If I knew I'd post to TRAC!
