I bought the C3200 in early 2017, not really cheap. What I did not know. The latest Firmware dated 2016 for the EU (Netherlands).

Everything works fine, until yesterday.
I suddenly lost the two 5GHz setting/possibilities. What now.
I had already come across dd-wrt looking for a good router for purchase of a VPN. NORD-vpn? (I work with 3 Apple's)

The Weird case of this scenario, the C3200 is still for sale

Which 3band router do you recommend

Any updates regarding Archer C3200 v1? Good thing - this router is stable and has no issues (unlike those 10$ tp-link routers).

At the moment I am using ODROID XU4 as a router and this C3200 router as an access point Very Happy

Just picked up a C3200 for $15. Maybe the r8000 cfe could be flashed to it and the r8000 build.

Any ETA available for this router? Can we flash any other generic build on this router?

Probable never and I doubt you can flash another build on it.

Hello friends,

Has anyone managed to create a dd-wrt firmware base for this model?

Now we have the firmware that allows you to upgrade to any other firmware.

Does anyone know how to proceed?

Hello, is any donation needed to continue development on this router?

it is a good gigabit router:
CPU1: Broadcom BCM4709A0 (1 GHz, 2 cores)
FLA1: 128 MiB (Brand? Model?)
RAM1: 256 MiB (Brand? Model?)
Expansion IFs: USB 3.0, USB 2.0
USB ports: 2

thank you.

I'll see about asking if the developer has one in hand. I previously mentioned a commit regarding this device, but no firmware images specific to this device have been forthcoming. Normally, a hardware donation and/or the usual homework is required:

And, I'm waiting for DD-WRT for Archer C3200.

BTW, will it work with C3200 v2?

Cannot find information on a 3200 v2, only 3150 v2:

I have it on good word that there was an inquiry sent regarding this thread. People obviously don't understand that Broadcom is low-priority and new device support is dependent on the mood of the developer.
