R6700 wifi button not working.

I have a Netgear R6700 V3 running Firmware 51530 and I was trying to get the wifi/wps buttons to work turning off the radio and nothing seems to work.

I have enabled the SES / AOSS / EZ-SETUP / WPS Button
Turn Off Radio is set to Enable
Turn Radio Off at Boot is set to Disable

I have tried pressing and holding the WPS button for 10 seconds and nothing happens. I have tried pressing the wifi on/off button for 10 seconds as well and it does the same thing.

I have not tried the reset button and do not really want to either. Does anyone know anything else I can try to get it working?

I have an R6400v2 which is more or less the same.

It works on that router running build 52086 (unofficial build) by pressing the WPS button for about 8 sec (that is the second button from the right of the router).
