I'm running DD-WRT v3.0-r51617 std (02/09/23) on my 56U and so far, so good. It's running as a station bridge, and the speed to my AP has trebled.

Coming from a similar setup (client bridge) on a Linksys E2000, I see that there's a considerably longer time for the 56U to boot up vs. the E2000.

Is there anything I can do to speed the bootup process?

Thanks in advance!

In short, no. Broadcom Northstar builds take time to boot up, doesn't matter if you're on stock firmware, AsusWRT-Merlin, DD-WRT, or FreshTomato. You can't be a TX native living in NYC, you're too impatient.
